A friend recently gifted me Horselords and Monks and Mystics, are there any dangers/problems with installing and enabling them in an already ongoing campaign?

Also looking for how to create the Jomsvikings, from the looks of it they can be created but after nearly a 100 years they still haven't. Any way to activate their creation manually through console?

Can Karaites rebuild the Temple?

I'm doing a Semien run and very pious sultans of Egypt caused me to skip one generation of being a hidden orthodox and now there are none left except Karaites and even my home provinces flipped. Fitting, since Karaites are non-rabbinic as are Beta Israel Jews I guess?

As far as i know that should be without issue. Provinces under nomads stay what they are.

Also looking for how to create the Jomsvikings, from the looks of it they can be created but after nearly a 100 years they still haven't. Any way to activate their creation manually through console?

Probably either through using the creation event (TOG.4000 ??) as such or by creating the requirements for it to happen.

Pretty sure this is NOT a generic CoA, right? I noticed this, and of course recognized it immediately. Coincidence, or...?

When using the ruler designer, do you have to use the one you design or could you hypothetically make a bunch of custom rulers for the AI?

The RD is only for your character...., as far as i recall.*

*(my lawyer told me to add the latter part )

What you can do is uing the RD once, start, save uncompressed, quit, open the save file and copy the character.
Do that as often as you want and then copy them in the save file you start on.

Alternatively and i'd say easier would be to use the customisation DLC for changing COAs and console commands
and/or cheat mods (especially Sketchy and Slvbruu Cheat Menu mods) for further 'improving' of other (AI) characters.

Having been burned at the stake again, I'm wondering - what are the strategies to reduce the chance of being uncovered and killed when being member of a secret religious cult? I'm fighting hard not to let Judaism die in Abyssynia, but it's getting tiring.
I dont know exactly but I think having high intrige will lower the Change of beeing discovered because of others (iloyal vassals usualy) spying on you.
Additionally Stop doing anything related with your society while beeing suspicious, dont do missions and do not use abilities of any sort.

If branded as apostasy I Think its to Late to safe you.

Edit: oh I did not see that you want advice to religious cults, havent tried one yet.
The later I mentioned certainly applies to satanist society.

When I order a heir-less courtier to take the vows, do I inherit his sweet, sweet money when he dies? Or does it go to a holy order?

My ruler (Byzantine) died and his son inherited the empire while he was imprisoned by some landless revolter band or some shit. There is no way to communicate with the revolter because all the buttons are greyed out when I right-click his image (cannot ransom). How do i get out of this?

I opened the console command and put the cheat code in to kill whoever imprisoned me, but after he dies, I'm still imprisoned by another of landless revolter who took over the previous guy. I killed a whole bunch but still the same - all buttons greyed out, cannot ransom, cannot escape, cannot communicate. Wtf is this shit?

Trying to fix an old save through save file editing, and I'm stuck on not finding where the council is stored. I presume it's on the character, maybe the demesne, but I can't find it there
(also weird bugged image for a while, now I have a duplicate Mystikos)

Double Mystikos is gone when I load, but there's still meth-crafter Swedish guy, I think in the free slot council position

..

I suppose either wait until the revolt is over or, if it's a playable character, use neg_diplo command, request to be freed,
then 'play' as him, accept, turn back to play as your char and do neg_diplo again to turn it off.

So i started a Bavaria game at the 769 start, managed to get the kingdom of Germania after it broke free from the HRE (both Karling united by Carloman + Italy) and it started to fuck up my kingdom at each inheritance. I think i red that i needed the gavelking inheritance to delete kingdom title but is there any other way?

What is the point of an antipope?

Antipopes make you immune to excommunication. Alternatively, if you are an emperor you can push the antipope's claim on the papacy and have a vassal pope who is mostly a loyal vassal and will excommunicate people just for the asking.

And what is the easiest start date to restore the Roman Empire as the Byzantines?
Pretty much any time they are strong (so pre-1066), though you can probably do it from the Alexiad.

Creating an antipope after you've been excommunicated is pointless, right? I don't play Catholics that often.
