I just wanted to check I'm doing a couple of things right:
1) I'm a King with one Duchy and am trying to gain control over the Kingdom's other Duchy, which belongs to my vassal. I've sent my Chancellor to the capital of the Duchy I desire and set him to Fabricate Claims. I get a claim on the County, but even after many decades of continuing to keep the Chancellor there fabricating, I've not got a claim on the Duchy yet. When I've got bored and sent my Chancellor to fabricate claims on another couple of counties, I've got them pretty quickly. There are no Plot or Intrigue options available.
So, is it just a matter of time and luck, or are am I doing something wrong?
2) Also, a barony in my capital county has, through marriage, come to be owned by a foreign realm. To regain control, I'd need to send the Chancellor there to the county and fabricate a claim, right? There are no Plot or Intrigue options available.
