Basically, I'm just asking, huh? Is this a thing?

Apaprently. Being imprisoned does not seem to factor into doge elections. And in a way it makes some RP sense. "Hey, let's elect that guy who's imprisoned and will not be able to actually rule over us."

I think he's even fathered a child while under house arrest. I suspect he's actually a complete genius.

"What? No, sorry, can't help you, I'm still imprisoned. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a tee time I'd hate to be late for. Vote for me, okay?"

Since you have clout with those other PDS games and this is the ckii forum. can you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take the customized game settings feature that ckii has brilliantly come up with and incorporate it into the other PDS titles. That entire Conclave Shattered Retreat debacle made you learn from that mistake and develop this wonderful feature but why on earth have you not taken it over to the other games you offer. Shouldn't you allow all your players to adopt game rules/policies/dlc to their liking the same way they can do in ckii unless you really didn't learn from that mistake.

I guess you guys really haven't learned from that mistake as Stellaris is mostly negative reviews from your latest of updates, good job! Seriously though, why hasn't anyone from the ckii team talked to the other teams to get this feature across all PDS games?

Welp, another question:
I'm a khagan, and can't start a blood feud with any of my vassal khans.
Do I have to have bad relations with the clan/khan to be able to do that?

I would be very grateful to someone who can solve my frustrating problem. I seem to be finding it quite impossible to use piety as a trigger for an event option.
What I am trying to do is make one option become visible as a choice when piety is over 400. Validator is throwing it out so obviously this is wrong:

option = {
name = EVTOPTBTWS.080
tooltip_info = piety
trigger = {
piety = 400
}

Well, never modded anything in CKII, but you have 2 opening brackets, but only 1 closing ones.
That's never good. :)

Why are you assuming that the CK2 team haven't talked to the other teams?

It's much more likely that the other teams simply have different priorities.

How do I set crown focus? Can't find the silver button.
To set a crown focus, you need the Reaper's Due DLC, to be Duke-tier or higher, and to not be nomadic.
You also need one of the following:
To be independent
To be a republic or merchant republic
Duke tier with realm size 35
King tier with with realm size 55.

I take it this is open for general questions.

How do I dispose/replace mayors or titleholders of defeated foes? I'm playing as Aragon and I'd rather not have rebellious moors acting as my vassals or courtiers once I've conquered them.
Just strip the title and replace them. No penalty for removing vassals who are not your culture/religion

Hi, I thought of doing a megacampaign but read that the euiv converter is outdated and bugged. However, I also heard there are some tricks that can correct that.
So, are there those tricks? Or any working mods instead the converter?
Sorry if wrong subforum or something violating the rules.
Back in the day they were terrible at keeping up with the converter, and it would be broken for months at a time. These days they roll out the patch for the converter almost as fast as the latest patches for EU4 come out. You can ask around to make sure it's up-to-date, but remember you can also just as easily convert a game on Day 1 to see for yourself.

Don't forget about the fine print that is having religious revocation laws.

I forgot to set it once, and it kind of pissed EVERYONE off because I revoked about 4 titles "without just cause" once.

Hello. I have a question:

I am King of Jerusalem, Ireland and England.

Southern part of England (Hwicce, Essex, East Anglia and Cornwall) belongs to King of Norway, who is a vassal of HRE.

I invited heir to the Duchy of Hwicce to my court. If I make him a vassal and give him a duchy, and the current Duke of Hwicce dies, will he inheirt Hwicce and stay my vassal, or will he became vassal of HRE?

My Kingdoms, Norway and HRE all have Medium Crown Authority. I only have the base game (no DLC).
