Nothing special. Her heir, OTOH (assuming it is also its father's heir)...

She is only nominally the empress due to being married to the emperor.
So i'd be the empress but with my own titles, right? and if i managed to play until his son becomes my heir i'd become emperor?
Doesn't matter because an usurper got there and screwed with my plans, it was fun however hahaha

That is correct. Your girl would be called the empress but have your titles, her son/heir would actually become emperor as well as getting your title(s) assuming you voted so both heirs were the same.

I'm King of Jerusalem and from the start of the game I'm allied with France.

I was attacked by a muslim neightbour (casus belli "Jihad") but France didn't joined the war and neither broke Alliance with me after not joining the war. I had no diplomatic option enabled to ask France to join the war.

What are the conditions for an allied to be called to a defensive crusade war ? Is'nt there very distant allies obliged to join you in your defensive wars ?

thanks for the answer, could'nt find the information on the wiki !

I'm newbie player in Ireland.

1) Is there some faster way to fabricate claims other than sending my goddamn chancellor to a county and waiting a billion years until he manages to produce a claim for one province with 10% chance every year?
Can I produce claims for entire duchies?

Also, I wanna become the king of Ireland. I choose for my king proper ambition. Text of the ambition states something like "after taking it chancellor will be able to produce the claim for the Kingdom of Ireland with Fabricate Claim mission". What the hell does that mean, I fabricate claims all the time and he still does them for counties, and I see nowhere an option to fabricate claim on an entire kingdom.

In general: how to expand faster by war other than wait years-per-county-fabrication. I have no DLCs so no super cool casus bellis.

2) Of course you may ask why do I not expand by marriage. Well, because as you can see I have enough problems with the basic concepts to be capable of inheriting country this way. Is there some kind of plain, direct, simple guide "how you can use marriage to get a claim or inherit this country"? I have read a lot of wiki and after all this I launch the game and I still have no idea what am I doing with marriages lol.

3) I have three provinces of demesme. I have 2k personal levies. Some count has 1 province total. He has 1,5k levies. I mean, just 50 years passed since the beginning and I did build some +levy stuff, so it's hard to understand for me how does he manage to have so much more efficiency in "levies per county" basis (especially as his county is, like rest of Ireland, nothing special at all).
What are the most probable explanations?

4) Is it normal that I have no access to heavy cavalry anywhere? I thought that starting as Christian feudal ruler in 1066 will mean everybody will have an access to some small elite cavalry force, and neither Leon nor Ireland have it so far, and I don't see it anywhere on the horizon.

You can try to find someone else with a claim on the land (like a son or daughter), give them some land (either a county you've conquered once your a duke, or an extra barony), then push their claim. Alternately, you could marry a woman with a claim so your heir inherits her claim or push her claim so your heir inherits the land directly. Going further, if one of the rulers has a daughter, you could try to marry her to your heir, then murder all of her brothers so that when she inherits, her heir will be in your line of succession.

If you have Jade Dragon, the new De Jure Duchy war, Unlawful Conquest, and Force Vassalization CBs can really help speed things up.

You can also try converting to another religion. Most other religions will have a Holy War CB to conquer an entire duchy without a claim, though other Christian rulers can join to help the defender. Pagans and Muslims also have access to a County Conquest CB, where they can conquer a single county without a claim and other rulers can't join in without an alliance.

Normally, fabricating a claim will give you a claim on the county. Sometimes, it can give a claim on the duchy instead. With the ambition, it can also rarely give a claim on the entire kingdom. However, I think both of these require the title to already exist. It would be kind of pointless to fabricate a claim on the Kingdom of Ireland if there isn't a Kingdom of Ireland yet.

2. For marriage, to get a claim, just look for a daughter that has a claim on the land, cursor over it and make sure the claim can be inherited, then marry her to your heir. Now, your heir's heir will get the claim, or you can press her claim so she becomes Queen, then the shared heir will inherit the land. For expanding by marriage without war, marry someone in the line of succession, then murder everyone else ahead of them. If you click the title, you can see the current heir and the top 3 pretenders. Kill them all.

3. The two main ways of getting more levies out of your demesne are increasing your Martial and upgrading your holdings. Your martial score gives a percentage increase to all of your levies. Most of your buildings in your holdings with either offer specific troops to your levies or give a percentage increase to levy size. Also note that the army size on the character sheet includes vassal levies, retinues, hired mercenaries/holy orders, and event troops. Finally note that you can increase your levies per county by building additional holdings. This is rather expensive, and the extra holding takes an extra demesne slot or needs to be given to a vassal, but it can be effective if you don't have more buildings to build.

If you right-click the portrait of your ally there should be a "Call to War" option. There should also be a notification appearing at the top of the screen with an icon of two crossed flags.

Levies don't have much heavy cavalry and as retinues it's very expensive. So only large empires are able to afford it.

The Knights Templar, Knights Hospitalier and the Order of the Holy Sepulchre are almost 30% HC, which makes them immensely powerful

Try light cavalry instead. The Spanish cultural retinue for example is light cav

You can start getting Heavy Cav once you begin building rank 4 stables.
Altaic, Frankish, Occitan, Norman, German, Breton, Byzantine, South Slavic, and Jurchen cultural buildings also produce them
Regardless, they're going to be a rather small part of your army, as most of those produce only 5 heavy infantry in the first rank it becomes available.

There isn't any call to war option...

My bad, it's "Call to Arms", not "Call to War". If you don't have that option double check if your alliance is still active.

Can females lead armies in this game? I mean, on one hand women get commander traits, and I am convinced I have noticed some Basilissa of Byzantium who died in battle against Turks, but on the other hand I recall some tooltip saying being male is the requirement of leading armies.

Yes but it is limited to those with certain traits and rulers while any male can be made a commander and put there.

Why sometimes when I conquer next duchy/county (Ireland) its ruling elites are imprisoned following the defeat and sometimes they remain as lords of those lands afterwards, but as my vassals?

The misunderstanding of this mechanic led to me conquering some furious guy and him becoming powerful vassal and almost spawning civil war. Fortunately I managed to assasinate him but still: ???

Also, related: how can I get rid of not even a singular vassal but an entire vassal family from their county, so I can give this land to one of my loyal men? I mean, I can simply revoke the title, but that means tyranny modifier too. There has to be some better way.

Whether you vassalize or conquer someone depends on the CB you are using.
Some CBs, like the De Jure Claim, will vassalize someone if it takes their last remaining territory, but will conquer the land instead if they hold other territory.

If you want to get land back without Tyranny, there are a few ways to go about it
1. Completely piss them off until they revolt, then after defeating them, you can revoke the title for treason.
2. Assassinate them and all of their heirs. Since you are their liege, you will be in the line of succession as a fallback if no one else can inherit.
