I scanned the localization files, and Beowulf doesn't appear in them and doesn't look like something dynamically named, so that's probably from a mod.
Are you playing with a mod? Beowulf isn't listed in the books on the wiki, but I haven't played vanilla post M&M enough to know if it's there.
Is there a way to change map colors for a landed title? I used to by editing the landed_titles file but it does not appear to change anything anymore. Is there some cache I have to clear, or did something change in a recent patch?
.... Beowulf....... For all we know, it could've been created by the Uwe Boll of the time and the only reason we care about it today is because it's THE major/oldest work of Old English literature.
Are you asking because you expect them to be and they're not, or because you don't expect them to and you have evidence that they are? I'm pretty sure that they are supposed to not fight members of the same faith, even if the liege is excommunicated or employing an antipope. Are holy orders supposed to be hostile towards excommunicated characters of the same faith?
You can still hire holy orders being excommunicated, for some reason. That shouldn't be a thing. Are you asking because you expect them to be and they're not, or because you don't expect them to and you have evidence that they are? This happened in HIP mod. I was attacked by an apostolic holy order even though I was myself apostolic (but excommunicated). I was at war with the guy who hired them and when my army arrived to the county where his army and holy order were located I got attacked by both his army and the holy order even though the holy order's name in the tooltip was written in grey and not red. The holy order was attached to his army. Maybe that's why I got attacked by both? Are you asking because you expect them to be and they're not, or because you don't expect them to and you have evidence that they are? Oh right they are in objectivesEdit the focuses themselves. For childhood focuses, these are in potential_traits, and for education focuses, these are in good_traits and bad_traits.
You'll also need to edit the events for the focuses to actually change which traits are added or used.

Am the Duke of Lower Lorraine. My sister is Empress on the Byz Empire, since i married her matrilinearly to a Byz heir low enough in the list and plotted through the heirs until he became Emperor. Got Elective Monarchy and can choose her as my heir. What is gonna happen if i become her?
