I had a couple really nice concubines, and then my character died. Now I cannot find them. They are nowhere in my court, and searching for their names in the character finder does not turn them up. I know for a fact that it is not the case that concubines disappear when their man dies, as I have previously used concubinage as a way to, erm, "reserve" particularly good women for future heirs. Also, there's a third concubine that I have found and re-concubined to the new character, but the other two are nowhere to be found, even if I turn off all filters on the character finder.
I don't understand. How did two young genius concubines simply vanish into thin air?
EDIT: At first I thought that maybe there's a rule stating that concubines who didn't have children would vanish upon their man's death (even though that would be silly), but I checked and the concubine that did not vanish also did not have children. All of the concubines were added relatively soon before the character's death, although I think the two that vanished came slightly after, if it matters. The only thing I could think of being relevant is that the two that vanished were both lowborns, but I highly doubt that the game would have just disappeared them instantly because of that. I know there's a function that takes irrelevant characters out of the game when courts grow too large, but that's not supposed to happen instantaneously.
