Hopefully, this will not deserve its own thread.

I am a feudal king with a claim on a county held by a republican vassal of Venice. The game allows me to declare war on the doge to press my claims, all conditions are in green. The moment I press the 'Send' button, I have a message telling me that the war ended inconclusively due to a casus belli no longer valid. Any idea what might be causing this ?

Thanks for any answer.

Hello everybody!

I have a question. I'm the Duchess of Austria, Carinthia (primary) & Slavonia, trying to revoke the County of Znojmo (de jure d_austria) from some.. guy. :) Duchies of Austria & Carinthia are both de jure Kingdom of Bavaria, which has implemented low crown authority (which enables revoking). But the problem is, I can't revoke the county! I can revoke everything else from de jure k_bavaria in my realm, except c_znojmo. Tooltip says: (X) The crown authority of Duchy of Austria allows revocation; for other counties in d_austria it's: (*) The crown authority of Kingdom of Bavaria allows revocation. Hmmm. Not sure why, I'm confused. Maybe because I recently conquered Znojmo? Any clarification would be very welcome.

Thanks.

If you have a save where this happens everytime upload it to some free filehosting site and make a topic on the bug reports sub-forum and add the link to the save with the steps to reproduce. Its clearly a bug and need to get fixed and reporting it is the first step for it.

With medium crown authority i can revoke tittles from infidel vassals without problem, but can my vasssals do that too? For example my duke vassal is the same religion as me, but his count vassal is a infidel.

And another question: is the ethopian retinue worth it?

Hi, new question:

My heir borrowed some money from the Knight Templars. When he inherited, he still owed them 300 gold, giving me (as I am now playing him) a negative opinion modifier with church members. However I cannot find where I can repay my debt. I tried to donate 300 gold to the Knight Templars through the Intrigue panel, but they just tell me they are happy about it and do not consider it as repaying the debt.
So is there a way to pay back when the debt has been contracted while my character was a PNJ or is it broken?

I could be wrong, but I think this is all still valid:

I'm playing as the Abbasids and trying to convert to Zoroastrianism but can't manage it.

I've got my sons being tutored by Zoroastrians but they don't seem to be converting, and when I chose Zoroastrian tutors for them the tooltip only warned of a chance of culture change, not religious conversion.

Additionally I've moved my capital to a Zoroastrian county but there's still no option to convert. Is it because I'm the Caliph? If so, is it possible to give the Caliph title away without losing my Arabia + Persia empires?

Right, though to be precise, it's not 900 that causes it, but 900+the territory you hold. The highest weight target is Mecca.
http://www.ckiiwiki.com/Crusades,_jihads_and_great_holy_wars#Crusade_target_weight
Sadly the highest weight target didnt mean anything, i decided to leave mecca and medina alone, i only had a duchy in the kingdom of arabia(said kingdom was under control of muslims) so at most i would have a target weight of 25, while the monophysite hold the kingdom of egypt a target weight of 400. Still i get a jihad called against me for my holdings in the kingdom of arabia. is this mechanic broken or something? On a side note the monophysite kingdom has still 15k event troops that just doesnt disappear they got it around 40 years ago, has this something to do with? and will their event troops ever disappear?

Weight isn't an always thing. It's a weighting in the decision process, but it doesn't guarantee where the Great Holy Wars will be called, just a probability. I don't know the exact equation.

Note the language from the wiki:
Religious heads will usually call crusades on the title with the highest weight that is not controlled by their religion.

Is there some sort of strategy to make fighting wars against army-less enemies less painful?

Let me explain:

It seems battles have the largest effect on war score. Generally, wars for me involve crushing the enemy army early and then doing a few sieges to get 100%. But if the enemy doesn't have an army at the time (they're getting stomped in another war, for example), I have to get all my war score from sieges. This leads to the preposterous situation where it takes more time (and thus more money) to fight an enemy with no army vice an enemy with a large one.

Is this correct? Is there a way to make these wars shorter and cheaper, possibly by making the AI surrender at less than 100%?

I want to form the empire of abyssinia, which requires the kingdom abyssinia(which i have), kingdom of nubia(i can create this title, all land belongs to me) and kingdom of egypt(trying to get this one), the thing is all except one duchy of the kingdom of nubia de jure drifted into my kingdom of abyssinia. Will the kingdom of Nubia entirely dissappear after the last duchy de jure drifts to my kingdom of abyssina? and if yes, wil it result in that i cant form the empire anymore?
