Crusader Kings II pre-order starts & demo released

I just pre-ordered on GamersGate.

I use Steam as well, but I have all my Paradox Interactive games on GG and want to keep it that way.


Btw, thanks for giving two DLCs for free.

Just preordered on PCGameStore. First time that way and I am slightly unfamiliar with this store. Does that mean I'll receive a code from PC Game Store to activate this game on my Steam account as well?

Yes, the two bonus DLC offer is only for digital download pre-order, not boxed.

Note that means Steam or GamersGate only, according to Paradox.

Yeah I was also under the impression you would get 2 DLC's -of choice- which one(s) you like, when you like...so I was too hoping to maybe get a cool DLC later this year or in may 2014. But I guess not.

Though I am not really annoyed or anything; since I know this game is going to be awesome with or without the DLC's. However I do wonder why these 2 DLC's are labeled bonus-material anyway; they are released @ game start...and everyone who orders/downloads online gets them...that kind of looks like they come with the game (or might as well) dunnit.

So I think it's quite lame at least. No reason (for me) to order here or there, and in my opinion not even woth mentioning (as I seriously wonder if the sites that don't mention them, will actually not offer them as well).

But hey, since DLC's are not my thing anyway, I'd advise you guys to keep an eye out for fun/game-improving mods. And from the looks of it, this game will be well received and is (as dev's mentioned) very moddable; so there are my free DLC's

Congratulations Paradox, the demo made me preorder this one on Steam. I found a couple of hours of my time gone while just "quickly" testing the demo, so a preorder felt like the right thing.

Question to devs, if I buy it on steam will the wikipedia historical person links open in the steam overlay browser?
And couldn't you have made it so it saved your game after the demo ended and you can continue with it in the full version, I got so invested in my beautiful kingdom of León and now it's all gone
