Really from what I seen so far its nearly impossible for the player or AI to form the Holy Roman Empire or even Francia as Charlemagne, the only empire I've seen formed so far is by the Muslims who created Hispania.

I have seen Francia, the HRE, Carpathia and Hispania all being formed by the AI since CM. Scandinavia and the Wendish Empire on several occasions also almost got formed, but I abandoned those saves due to new beta's coming out, before I could see how it ended up.

Hmm in my current game with the latest beta I've have been getting notices about various reformed pagans forming holy orders and the Crusades/Jihads/Great Holy wars haven't even kicked off because they aren't permitted to kick off until the 900s.

The only one I've seen is Carpathia, and that's only because it's ridiculously easy to make. West Francia blob never turned into Francia or the HRE though.

It fell part in my current game into smallish states after the death of Karl and again into even smaller states after the death his successor, I am currently hoping the Crusades trigger before the Uyamad's empire starts holy warring into the Frankish petty states.

But its not. They informed you of the fix and you don't like to use revolt titles.

I bit my tongue and used revolt titles anyway. It turned out that they don't work either. See my latest posts in that thread.

Ah. Fair enough. I must have missed that. I withdraw my sass and am humbled by my wrongness.

I advise you create a new bug forum thread.

Francia and HRE are quite reliant on player inaction, but form quite often: when the player is blobbling in India or somewhere else far from there, it's not that difficult. If not by Charlemagne, in two or three generations.

Wonder when the broken disinherit by sending sons to holy orders will be fixed. Probably never even though it seems like a fairly easy thing to fix.

Priorities.

I am not a Dev at Paradox. I cant see the database with the listed bugs. I dont know their code. So I cant say if something is easy or not. And easy doesnt mean fast.

Everything is about balance. You have XXX hours/week to work on stuff. New features, bug fixing, testing, design, work meetings, etc.

You need to balance: hours to fix X hours to test X importance/impact of bug X risk of change

Is it me or you actually inherit your Minor Viceroy money when he dies ?
It seems I get richer and richer whenever they die but I was never focused on that so I am not 100% sure.

Also, I am sure I inherited my courtier's money when they did not have heir. Here is what happened:
1/ I conquered a county of another religion
2/ Obviously, I revoked the title of the count who was a filthy infidel after all, letting my new count doing the rest of the job
3/ My new count revoked the minor titles, including the cities which had mayors with more than 2K gold each
3/ I invited to my court these 2 mayors
4/ when they died, I just won 4K gold

Is this WAD ? I would think yes but it makes it a bit too easy ...
This is the same kind of behavior as giving a castle to a mayor and killing the mayor, it gives you the money...

A very minor "bug":
Normal behavior is that when you tag a people with a title as an import person, whenever he/she dies you automatically have their main heir tagged.
With Vice royalty it doesn't work as the main title is inherited by yourself, the "true" heir is not tagged as an important person.

What event troops are you refering too? we increased the size of decadence invastions, and the historical troops where nudged to be similar to the old sizes. I think we nudged the adventurers a bit as well, but I think the changes need to sink in a bit more before we can decide if something was over/under nerfed and needs further tweaking.

AI does not calculate holy orders into army count, it often goes into a province where there is a 10000 holy order troops (and not other troops) and just dies. There is also bug with levies being raised multiple times thus single holding giving like 8 or more same levies. Also AI is transfering it's baron level vassals to decrease it's vassal limit which does not work and is thus a bug.

Look at the AI ignoring the 10000 holy order stack

Or this great mighty Amalfi having 10 levies from the same holding

Money goes to the heir. If the count/duke/viceroy has no dynasty heir it goes to the liege. If you are the liege... you will get the cash. WAD

This is a HIP bug not a vannila bug probably.

Btw any word if the patch is still scheduled for this week?

REAAAAALY? so a mod changes something as basic as how levies and holdings work? your brain imagines there is unlimited_levies_on part of the script??? HAHAHA man are you funny. Btw, no it's not the bug is there in vanilla also but I did not bother taking a screenshot as this is impressive enough.
