Have you tried a new game?

Again, it's not always possible to fix bugs already existing in the save..

I will not try a new game. The game wont work on Linux how it should.
It starts crashing after some unknown event comes up. This has broke two games already so maybe i go try next year again.
They have not fixed the Multiplayer issues so Linux & Windows players cant play.
Feels like they dont care mutch.
Some Linux users have abandon the game for temporary time.

I play on Linux just fine. Ubuntu 14 64bits.

I'm so happy random seed was fixed when games paused, now if you could have only fixed it for HOI3 my mod would have been 1000x easier to make. Feel free to pass that fix on to Podcat and make him patch HOI3 one more time ;p

Thanks for fixing crusades and jihads! Are the holy orders still bugged to start way too early? I don't want to start a new game as Saxony and be fighting the Teutonic Order in 800 CE.

Yeah, since the achievement looks correct now, I would guess that the problem is using an old save with it. Typically you can't use old saves to get "new" achievements. Since the achievement has changed, you probably can't use the old save to do it.

Hmm... Two last beta patches randomly CTD in game what perfectly played on 2.2.0.6
And when 2.2.0.7 it was 2 crashes in 50 years, 2.2.0.8 did not pass an a year, which effectively stops any possible play.
Logs said nothing. :(
Please fix it, please...

File a bug report. Include a save. Give plenty of details. Assuming you haven't already.

Great job making the Shia Rising revolt much bigger! Now all you need to do is make it so that it's likely to occur in 769 starts by preventing the Hashimid Emir of Medina from creating the Shia Caliphate within a week of the 769 start while remaining a vassal of the Sunni Caliph. Unless something happens to him or his successors, this prevents the Shia Rising event from ever firing and helps create a ridiculously stable Abbasid Empire due to no Islamic infighting.

I have filed a bug report about it here.

Hmm... Two last beta patches randomly CTD in game what perfectly played on 2.2.0.6
And when 2.2.0.7 it was 2 crashes in 50 years, 2.2.0.8 did not pass an a year, which effectively stops any possible play.
Logs said nothing. :(
Please fix it, please...

do the usual: delete local files, delete documents folder, restart steam, opt for beta, install game, dont use mods while testing CTD.

- Fixed bug when characters inheriting revolts still was named after the revolt when it ended.

Also, revolts should never give you the 'prince' or 'princess' title or put you above your normal tier for marriage purposes.

There could be an exception for claimants who lead their own factions when actually claiming the throne, but leading the Lower Crown Authority faction hardly makes your kids princes in any sort of perception.

Another problem which I have seen in the Charlemagne start date since it was released are the Magyars. Their kingdom exists, but it invariably in all of my games is eaten up by surrounding pagans and never does anything. As the Magyars were so important historically (And cool) I think they need to have some buffs or coded events to give them a chance to survive and push them towards their invasion of Hungary in the mid 9th century.

Interesting so crusades will never trigger before 900, interesting but hopefully it doesn't mean that the Catholics get wiped out every game without the players help.
