Does anyone know when they are suppose to/ going to release a DD for the upcoming expansion? I feel confused as people are saying different things...
So far as creating your own kingdom/empire goes I'm curious to see what flavour they'll add to that. It would be nice to found your own personal guard ala-Varangian style, but I'm unclear of what the limitations would be.

Functionally, they're a vassalized mercenary company, ja? So, when you custom-make your new kingdom, you can probably vassalize willing mercenaries the same way we currently do. Bam, Varangian-like.
Well, Paradox have never promised they would announce anything! The rumors about Dev Diaries is all made by us users on the forum...
That said, I really find Paradox' way of communicating being worse and worse. At least they could tell us when to expect more from them, info and such...
It would not take a lot of time, just telling us strait out whats the plan is - "We publish it the xx. september, and we will provide 3 dev diaries, the first one on monday"
