Just wanted to get it out there, if there still is anyone that doesn't have it yet!

Also, All the DLC is 75% off aswell, it seems (except the new russian one)!

The sale lasts what seems like 48 hours in total, so now we even have time to convince even those
stubborn friends to buy the game!

Yeah... Me too.

JUST made a new Steam account and bought a new copy of CKII and ALL the DLC (Except the new russian ones, which weren't out yet) so I could play LAN MP with my son.

I guess it isn't a ton of money... but I do kinda wish they would reward regular shoppers over random joes.

Thanks, now I feel less like a cashcow for buying those DLCs (shame I had already bought SoI and LoR !).
No regrets for SI though, I doubt I'd take it even free of charge.

BTW are the songs worth the download ? I'd reckon you'd turn it off anyway after a few hours of game.

Would I need to restart my current game if I enable the new DLCs? I'm not Byzantine but will the Legacy of Rome DLC screw up the Orthodox AI in my current game as France?

If the music is important to you at all and you have the disposable income for it.. I reckoned I'd turn it off as well, but often I'll find myself leaving the music on anyways. The music is definitely nice sounding, but it's more just the variety. Different tracks definitely help keep locales seeming fresh and help ease the monotony of the same songs being drilled into your brain over and over again. For roughly the price of a hot dog I think they're worth it.

I have a problem with enabling the DLCs. In the launcher I have them both checked, but in the game it says I don't have them (Can't chose a mulsim ruler or use the ruler designer). I tried some of the suggestions to this problem (checking the integrity of game chache) but it did not work.
In the CK2/dlc folder, there is 4 files (dlc005.dlc, dlc005.zip, dlc007.dlc, dlc007.zip). Do i need to unzip them manually for them to work?

Edit: this weird. The dlc005 files are only 189 bytes in size combined. The dlc007 are around 7.41mb....is this normal? :|

I bought Fallen Enchantress new because I love good strategy-role playing games. Of course they sell it at 50% off 4 weeks after release... lol

Sounds odd, you might want to verify cache to make sure it downloaded properly.

Done that. Even removed it totally and reinstalled and did not work.

There is few threads in the Technical subforum for people having the same problem. It seems steam screwed up something.

edit: solved by restarting steam and then checking the game files cache.
