Quick update, we've decided to release the 2.5.1 patch immediately.
This includes updates to the EU4 converter, reworked structure for feasts and tournaments, more AI support of favor use and many more fixes.

Major:
- NAP can now be formed with close relatives (siblings etc.) of different dynasties
- Great Feasts, Grand Tournament and Furusiyya events have been reworked to be triggered and not MTTH, increasing performance slightly
- Rebalanced ai council position selection to make it harder to acquire loyalists and made close relatives a bit more loyal.
- The ai is better at using favors to get the council to approve laws
- AI councillors use request support and call in favor on each other to pass laws
- AI councillors use request support and call in favor on each other to protect themselves from imprisonment
- AI councillors that dislike their liege try to get more support from other councillors
- AI more prone to accept Request Support if both character dislike the liege
- AI will try to get good marriages on characters owing them favors
- AI no longer cares for having a cb when considering alliance offers
- AI won't accept request support actions if it has called favors on someone else
- AI won't accept buy favor actions if it has called favors on someone else
- AI councillors won't try to get support from other councillors while giving support to someone else

Minor:
- Lieges of Trade Post owners will no longer burn mentioned Trade Posts
- Characters with unfaithful concubines will now gain proper opinion modifiers
- Halved frequency of Mu'tazila vassals asking lieges to change their beliefs- Council Appointment Offer from Liege no longer expires after a day
- Renegotiate Non-Aggression Pact interaction no longer appears if it's disabled between characters or if one of them is landless
- Governments no longer allow to freely revoke titles from tribals of same faith
- Fixed so culture and names are updated properly for some provinces when picking between bookmarks
- Holy orders, adventurers and mercs can no longer start factions
- Fixed issues in Form Non-Aggression Pact interaction
- Fixed issues with Pact list not showing certain Non-Aggression Pacts
- Game no longer crash if continue button loads a save game outside a subfolder while player is in subfolder- Dead vassals don't show up in the character selection screen anymore
- keyboard shortcuts in the character selection screen
- fixed a nasty oos possibility due to multithreading
- Children who were being educated but didn't have a guardian now go back home when they turn adult
- Fixes Revolters going independant when revolt leader loses all land (the war becomes invalidated instead)- Fixed crash caused by dead guy refusing to leave his coalition against an infamous enemy
- Fixed console command that let's you spawn in a sprite on the map.
- Speed up AI diplomacy evaluation by removing unnessecary debug code.
- Fixed so teenage hormones do not affect incapable characters, no longer gets their love event.
- Can now hide your daughter if someone is out to get her.
- Muslims unless they are sinful will no longer die from poisoned wine.
- Plot backers who are Muslim unless they are sinful will no longer get drunk and spill the beans.
- Fixed wife giving advice events from firing when councillors were not hired.
- Non-independent allies now share vision with other allies in a war.
- Incapable people are no longer capable of killing people.
- No longer makes council position buttons clickable if you are not on council.
- AI will no longer try to assign adviser titles to someone who already has it (which means it will actually be capable of assigning it now)
- The writers of the chronicle will no longer try to cover-up the warning of the coming of Xuhmalz, the demon lord, whom left a message set in stone.
- Getting killed by assassins no longer forces you to die twice.
- AI-rulers will now consider changing their obligation laws to better suit their needs.
- Councillors are now more prone to approve title grants to unlanded characters when you're above demesne limit.
- The vote window is properly aligned with the interaction position
- The vote window won't be shown when there's no vote
- The tooltip for changing a law now shows what the members of the council stand on the issue
- Fixed crash when a character dies and disbands armies that ends as combat that the player is part of
- Favor duration increased from 12 to 36 months
- Increased the chance from 25% to 75% for the AI using favors to force interactions
- No longer possible to call a favor on someone already under the influence of a favor
- Council voter list aligned

Modding:
- Fixed so free vassal levies thing muslims had is no longer hardcoded.
- relative_power_including_allies_attacker and relative_power_including_allies_defender also includes potential coalition strength now.
- Renamed owes_favor trigger; now called owes_favor_to.
- Renamed holds_favor trigger; now called holds_favor_on.
- Renamed owed_favor_activated trigger; now called owed_favor_activated_by.
- Renamed held_favor_activated trigger; now called held_favor_activated_on.
- Added effect for any_favor_ower.
- Added effect for any_favor_holder.

Converter:
- Fixed error with province Hoya in converter
- Fixed graphical culture for south indians
- Hansa no longer becomes Lübeck
- Native americans are no longer anatolian beyliks in the converter
- Dravidian nations no longer need to be two religions at once to get their idea set in the converter
- Pictish is no longer forever alone in Celtic group, they joined the Gaelic club
- Andalucian nations should now get their Granadan ideas
- EU4 now properly recognize the Jews as a culture and do not say Jewish empires do not exist.
- Mamelukes ideas should now be applied properly
- Lappish now properly becomes Sapmi culture
- Added a bunch of new nation tags to the converter and fixed some out dated ones
- Fixed new way to generate governments for the converter if you have conclave

- Being pregnant now gives a -2 personal combat skill modifier.
- Grandchildren of player characters now get the same bonus for inheriting Wolf's Blood as their children do.
- Made it a little easier for the AI to found the HRE (AI now ignores the pope relation requirement and is allowed to go into gold deficit on the coronation).
- Straightened-up decadent characters will now stay straight for at least ten years in most circumstances.
- Clan chiefs using the "Adopt Religion" decision now also convert close kin courtiers of same dynasty (unless they are zealous adults).
- The Become King ambition now provides more interesting opportunities for non-Pagan rulers.
- Lowered success reward for the Become King ambition to 500 prestige.
- Added new Acquire Title ambition for vassals to nag their liege about getting more land.
- "Soft" is now correctly treated as an adjective in insults.
- Increased the monthly prestige gain for minor titles.
- Kali Maaa! achievement should now be possible to attain again.
- The few Christian holy orders that went missing have now been found and will appear again.
- People will now remember the deeds of the Greatest Khan for a lifetime instead of forgetting about it after the end of the month.
- Added any_de_jure_vassal_title scope for triggers. This scope can be accessed from a landed title scope.
- Changed trigger variable naming num_culture_realm_provs, num_title_realm_provs and num_religion_realm_provs now use value as their member variable.

- Highway robber band now also decrease tribal levy size.
- Your eunuch sons will no longer get the serving maids pregnant.
- The history command add_matrilineal_spouse now properly sets the marriage as matrilineal if the characters are alive at game start.
- Straightened up family members will now restrain themselves from becoming decadent again within 5-years.
- Assassins are no longer fooled by the bait-and-switch tactic for their intended assassination target.
- Some Celtish titles now properly start with Tanistry Succession law when they are scripted to start with it.
- Elective succession faction no longer requires Autonomous Vassals Crown Authority to be available for vassals.
- Interaction requirement tooltips are now more consistent.
- Merged the two republic mapmodes into an enhanced mapmode.
- Enhanced the Dynasty and the Government mapmodes.
- Tweaked morale and defence to make units more likely to flee before they die.
- Pursuing units will no longer get flanking bonuses and will properly get a new tactic instead of starting with the last one.
- Deaths in combat will now affect the morale of that subunit.
- Shift + Right-click on a province will now bring up the dynastic view for the top owner of that province.
- Alt + Right-click on a province will now bring up the diplomatic view for the owner of that province.
- Shift + Alt + Right-click on a province will now bring up the diplomatic view for the top owner of that province.
- Rebels units will now be wiped after being defeated once.
- Units will no longer retreat from a siege after a failed assault.
- Fixed bug where the unit player icon was only shown if the player was leadning a subunit, not if the player was leading a flank.
- Units killed in less than 8 days will now be wiped.
- Nomads will no longer be created when landing courtiers in nomad realms.
- Fixed bug where manually stopping an assault increased defender morale.
- Increased length of tyranny modifier.
- The AI is now capable of communicating and coordinating themselves and share the same data when doing decisions.
- AI now capable of properly recognize when to be on the defense or not.
- AI now only want to hand out titles to raiding adventurers if they are actually being raided by raiding adventurers.
- Increased nomad maintenance cost.
- Tweaked population/manpower defines, should start as strong as before but growth yields less result.
- Lowered amount of income from nomadic taxes.
- Increased base cost of prestige horde units.
- Nerfed amount of tech points from pillage.
- Added terrain block to altaic tactic.
- Tweaked swarm and harass tactics
- Added disorganised swarm and harass tactics that has lower bonuses.
- Prestige based CB's for nomads no longer give the attacker prestige.
- Added nomad humiliate CB that gives prestige and steals population.
- Gave back the Mongols their balls.
- Tweaked defense values based on the new changes to fix the casulties calculation change.
- Temujin now starts with some prestige.
- AI is more likely to do nomad invasion if he cans now.
- Mighty Mongol AI don't care that they are getting old anymore.

- MTTH can now be scripted with addititive modifiers, using "additive_modifier = { value = x }" instead of "modifier = { factor = x }". For clarity, "mult_modifier" is recommended to use instead of "modifier".
Additive modifiers are ALWAYS calculated before multiplicative modifiers.
- Added MTTH modifiers additive_opinion_modifier and additive_power_diff_modifier ("additive_opinion_modifier = { who = X factor = X [trigger] }"). These modifier will add the opinion of character "who" multiplied with "factor".
- Added triggers relative_power_including_allies_attacker and relative_power_including_allies_defender.
- Added triggers has_cb and reverse_has_cb.
- Added effect "add_alliance = { who = x months/years/days = x }."
- Fixed bug in war_score trigger where it required war and character to be set in same scope, now only need war.
- Added steal population effect.
- Added flag to traits to block someone from owning titles.
- Added define ALWAYS_GENERATE_NOMADS which will force generation of nomads even if you don't own the DLC, will still be unplayable however.

So does that mean conclave is out? (Because it does not show up in my dlc eventhough I got the preorder key and unlocked it hours ago). Also the game crashes to desktop after load or starting a new game

Amazing patch good job! Really like the temporary opinion boost in succesion as in great empires vassals rebel all the time as soon as there's a succession and many times you can do nothing to prevent that.

I don't know what to do, I usually wait for the bug fix patch, but now it's out before the expansion even arrived.
As a modder said once, CK 2 patches are in active development for 60-90 days after release. You aint see nothin' yet.

Awesome! Why was it not in the 2.5 patch itself though?
The 2.5.0 had to be completed weeks in advance, but since we still kept most of the team intact, we could start patching right away. 2.5.1 passed testing yesterday, so we decided to give it to you asap.

Day 1 patch from PDS? Is this a first?
We did it for horse lords too.

So does that mean conclave is out? (Because it does not show up in my dlc eventhough I got the preorder key and unlocked it hours ago). Also the game crashes to desktop after load or starting a new game
You'll have to wait until 15:00 Gmt+1 or so until Conclave is being sold.
You should probably make sure you haven't made any modifications to your game and that you aren't running any mods. If the problem persists, please post in the bug forum and we'll look at the crash and see if it can be hotfixed.

Does this mean that non-sinful Muslims are now the perfect plot backers who won't ever reveal plots beforehand? Or are there new events to make them also have a chance now?

I'm guessing it is only for that particular event with alcohol. Other events should be the same.
