This is a correct use of "Uprising". It's a synonym for "revolt". I suppose "Shia Rising" could work too, but it would be a significantly different phrase (in "Shi'a Uprising", "Shi'a" is an adjective and "Uprising" is a noun, while I'd probably read "Shi'a Rising" as "Shi'a" being a noun and "Rising" being a verb, although you could read "Rising" as a noun in this context...), and would look silly if it happened multiple times in a game, which can happen with this event. The example in the spotlight this patch is the Shia Uprising (should be Rising)

The Converter could not be addressed until the recent major patches for both CK2 and EU4 settled down. Both from a functionality point of view, and that gameplay bugs that affect all players all the time naturally take precedence over Converter issues.
You can always just put a game aside you wish to convert until the problems are fixed, but crashing every time you hit the Religion tab requires fast action IMO.
The CK2 devs have said work will start on the Converter as soon as they're happy with the basic game stability; with the public release of 2.2.1 I assume that is now the case and that's what they're doing now. Note I have no direct knowledge this is so, it's just what I've gleaned from here.
Troop AI is really, really bad. Especially when there are multiple fronts.
Example:
AI ERE is under attack by Muslim holy war in Anatolia, Lombards attacking for Lecce, and Muslim uprising in Sicily.
What does the AI do? Repeatedly loads troops onto boats in Ionian Sea, disembarks in or around Lecce (already captured by Lombards), and then walks troops all the way around the Adriatic back to Greece, where it loads them back onto the boat and then repeats the process over and over.
Yes the converter fixes and some more extra stuff will be coming in the next available patch. I've already said this once before.
This is working as designed. Only feudal rulers are allowed to use viceroyalties.![]()
No feudal lords can give viceroyalty to merchant republic!
See what is causing the issue, the vice royalty then switch back to patrician elective.
Meaning that other rules are set to do the same with special factions,
Now either vice royalty overrides them or they don't (in this case they don't) but it is going to cause a lot of issue.
Cause it is the primary tittle. So when vice royalty is lifted, it is going to be mess to solve.
Ok easy replication, give vice royalty to a merchant repulic, play that merchant republic see still patrician law.
Wait now comes the bugger it is set as primary meaning it is the republic.
Election happens, bingo one giant mess up, who does it belong too?
Now this also happens with theologie mercs and other special groups. (that people can't play currently)
So make sure you got the vice royalty properly fixed first with succession. Either it overwrites or it doesn't.
Same as having a tribal under your vice royalty.
Yeah yeah people are usually not creative enough![]()

Its best Drake_Hound redoes this properly in the bug report forum, but if I'm interpreting it right, if you give a viceroyalty to a merchant republic (or lord mayor, creating one?), a theocracy or holy order, those succession laws override the viceroyalty (which means you don't get the title back of succession?). Probably something that requires clarification in the UI (either banning giving them viceroyalties, or saying it will be overridden)
And next patch will be 2.2.2 for Charlemange? Or we need to wait for official patch with converter fixes until Way of Life DLC (and 2.3) will be released?
next ... available ... patch ... as is ... the next ... patch ... it is ... available

Ok, I will repharse my question. What is expeected time to get the converter working, a week or two (2.2.2) or months (2.3, until new DLC is released)? If later, then probably we get aslo new EU4 DLC in same time and converter will be broken again.
