Really hate the people going "No ____ fix" in the patch notes.
This is exactly why Paradox didn't do these smaller, more frequent hotfixes in the past.
Be thankful for what you get, and expect the rest to come soon.
Honestly, I have a hard time being thankful for something still not working after the 3rd patch for RoI - yet it worked perfectly before RoI was released. RoI broke quite a few things that were just fine before 2.1.1 came out but are now still broken after 2.1.2, 2.1.3 and 2.1.4.
I realize that CK 2 is very complex (just try to modify stuff and read the .txt files and you can see this) but making it is actually their job - not the community's job.
From the 2.1.1 (original RoI patch notes):
- Impregnation of lovers is now handled in the code.
And that code (which we can't fix) doesn't appear to see if 2 lovers are both female - so you have people with 2 mothers (and I have a few with 4 grandmothers).
- When choosing educate character for a child, a suitable guardian will now be pre-picked (for the cases where you don't want to bother to pick one yourself).
Except the new code doesn't allow us to change the default in many instances - and we are stuck with the game defaulting back to the pre-picked one after ~ 1 month (seemed to be every 6 weeks in my now abandoned Iron Man games from 2.1.1 and 2.1.3).
Plus these patches seem to have broken many of the things added in Legacy of Rome and The Republic DLCs (I own them but never play as a Republic myself - and have never tried to mend the schism myself - so no idea if the reports of those being broken are accurate - but I am assuming they are). Not to mention the broken DLC portrait packs for a bit (breaking many of them in their attempt to fix whatever 32 bit issues they were trying to fix).
