So, Kingdom don't drift, right?
I think, that now they don't have to drift (when that line is added to a certain title the landed titles file).
I also really like this line in the new defines. lua ALLOW_DE_JURE_ASSIMILATION_ANYWHERE (from the file)
If set to 0, will only assimilate duchy titles which contain the assimilating Kingdom's capital or border existing de jure land of that title
IMHO this is an improvement; I'll make 0 standard.
Though assimilate = no, especially for certain titles, like Jerusalem, would be even better.
I also like the improvements, which were made with respect to marriage:
- When determining what tier a character is for the purposes of marriage, the highest ranked non-republican ruler among their close relatives is now used (so the nephew of a King would count as King tier)
- Will no longer get prestige hits for marrying below your tier unless you marry more than one level below it (so a King would get a prestige hit for marrying a Countess but not a Duchess)
I like the fact that close relatives have an influence on prestige and that one isn't immediately punished for marrying a character one tier below his own (with Royal families also marrying into the most influential noble families of their realm or in a broader region for that matter).
