Crusader Kings Chronicles Glitch?

Hey there,

First time poster, long time fan.

I recently (within the last hour) purchased the Crusader Kings Chronicles app.
I logged into the app and used my Paradox ID to register. From this point on, I launched CKII on my desktop. I noticed right away that the advertisement for the gamebook app is now gone, because I bought it. Yay.

Now I've been here, in game, pressing the "next song" button for the last 40 minutes trying to find the new song but to no avail. Obviously the 2 random events would pop up eventually, but I was looking forward to having this new song play occasionally throughout my play time. (Off topic, I can't seem to ever get the lyrical version of "Our Kingdom Will Fall" to play either, but this has been months.)

Any help would be great! If it truly is RNGesus and I'm really low on my luck for pressing "next song" that would be great to know, but as of right now, the only "proof" I have that I even have this DLC, is that the advertisement is now gone from the main menu.

Me too, just now. What I did was exit out of the game, deselected and reselected all the DLC, relaunched the game, and it was gone. I don't know if simply restarting the game was the thing that fixed it or deselecting and reselecting all the DLC, but it's working now.

Why isnt my dlc showing up?

Just tried that, still nadda. What year/country/province are you playing in which you can hear the new song? I'll see if I'm using the wrong nation or something haha.

If this helps any, it won't show up on the DLC tab and the song you're looking for is called "Guy de Rose's Quandary" (Guy de Rose is the main character of the gamebook if you haven't played yet). There's no special circumstances for the song to play either according to songs.txt- just looks like its up to chance. And if you're wondering what it sounds like, I remember listening to it out of game- it's very similar if not the same as the main menu track of the gamebook.

Yeah I noticed it wasn't a DLC, but rather login type dealy. I have the song in my files, I can listen to it in my VLC, but it never shows in game at all; I must've clicked "next song" over 200 times now.

I feel stupid, I never noticed that option in the audio menu. This changes everything! Yep, "Guy de Rose's Quandary" now plays, thanks so much

I actually think it's supposed to be available for all countries even with that setting on, but there's some problems right now unless they fixed it and it's working as intended.
