Ok perhaps stupid, but would it be possible to copy the three layers from CK into the EUII layers. So that the new EUII layers are actually the CK's layers, making it much easier to CK-map the game.

Has anyone CK-mapped the game?

And by the way, where is the map maker tutorial for dummies?
Please not just an answer, I know there is a link to an old tutorial about Inferis' tools. Can't find it, as the search functions as usual, are down.

(when will paradox ever fix that?)

Not possible as Inferis' tools do not work with CK (yet). Once they will there is still the problem of different size of the maps and the fact that the world in EU2 is round while it is not in CK. In any case this is not a trivial conversion.

XieChengnuo wrote a tutorial but the site has been down for some time already. You could PM him, some people had succes with that before. If you read French then Polak's tutorial might be otherwise helpful.
