But look,HOI 2 is more than game of thematics of ww2.It is not Medal of Honor,or Call od Duty.It is,however someone denied this term-it is simulation of ww2 on absolute,grand scale.Simulation of biggest war in human history.Nothing more,and nothing less.

I would not mind if they lay more emphasis on the society aspect of the WW2 era. The war engine is nice and fine, but I would like to see a society simulation in the age of ideologies. Propaganda and resistance groups against fascism/communism, inner state conflicts, spies with personalities, conflicts between military, political and econimical factions ...

I like both Vicky and HoI so I'm happy either way.

Don't really care about CK2. I don't understand how to play CK. I prefer playing as a country.

I'm more concerned about the lack of a new era. While a new HoI is great, WWII has been played to death, I'd like to a 1950-1990 game (the cold war mod for HoI2 doesn't seem to ever come out)

I would say,world of HOI 2 is world seen trough eyes of general,military strategist.Not from perspective of polititian or sociologists.
This military simplicity is what I like the most.

I would say,world of HOI 2 is world seen trough eyes of general,military strategist.Not from perspective of polititian or sociologists.
This military simplicity is what I like the most.

While I do agree that the HOI community is odd the CK-people don't play CK because it recuires brains, they play it because they are a bunch of sissies.
