Crusader Kings 2 unplayable

I've posted this everywhere and I've tried the majority of what people are saying to do, I've reinstalled the game I've reinstalled steam I verified the cache, but nothing has worked so far, here is what happens whenever I try to play

It gets to "Loading Sound" and then freezes.

I have Sword of Islam, Legacy of Rome, The Old Gods and The Way of Life

Any further suggestions would be appreciated

install it to someplace other than "program files"

Has it ever worked?

IF NEW:
Please go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\crusader kings ii\DX\ and run dxsetup.exe

Please go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\crusader kings ii\ and run vcredist.exe

If that doesn't help, please try installing ALL of these Microsoft modules:

Then: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl...ils.aspx?id=35

(If that doesn't do anything then http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl...s.aspx?id=8109 )

Then: visit the Windows Update site and allow it to apply all .NET updates/patches it wants to, for all .NET versions.
