have been spotting something funny lately. In my latest 1.07b game, 2 consecutive crusades for Jerusalam were "won" suggested by the pop-ups, and when I looked at the map, no lands changed hand. I thought it was some kind of bug or something, so I checked with the nations involved, and I found that the Fatimids was conquered by somebody just came out of nowhere due to their decadence being at 100, while the crusades were still in progress (they somehow got Egypt back from the first conqueror in-between the crusades so the 2nd crusade was directed at them as well). 2 crusades just coincided with the decadence thing, and ended inconclusively just like a normal war when liege changes. I was saying to myself the pope picked really good timing for the crusades and laugh at it originally since it doesn't concern me as I was an Orthodox Duke of Athen, vassal of ERE, but then I found it pretty irritating if I was playing a Catholic character (well, I will play a Catholic character again later for sure), especially if I took part in a crusade. I would fear all my efforts just go to nought if the same thing happened. Might have to check the decadence of the enemy often when fighting a crusade and hope no stupid conquerors came up before I actually won the thing. Now I felt really sorry for the English sailing all the way across Europe to fight in the first crusade, winning and leading the contribution (think they did coz pop-up said King xxxx of England was the main contributor or something similar), then was told they can go home now, the crusade was won but you don't get anything, haha! Denmark was the victim in the second crusade. "Sorry mate, you won but you still don't get anything, just like the English. Bye-bye :p "

I reckoned crusades should be treated a bit differently than normal wars? They should continue until the war was actually won (not suggested by the pop-ups you won but you didn't) or lost, i.e., when warscore goes to either +/-100. Well, or at least don't tell me I won the thing while it actually just ended indecisive. It won't be a very good joke really, especially when I like playing from the lower counts or dukes from the start. I would usually just participated in 1 war with all the resources I have as count, or even some smaller duke, and it take a lot of time to recover as well after wars. Can't complain when I lost the thing, but not this? It just feel... kind of rage although its just like a normal war ended inconclusively. Well, at least don't tell me I won! :(
