In my last playthrough (1.05f I think, upgrading to SoI now) I for the first time became a King directly through conquest (as Duke of Toulouse I won the Crusade for Jerusalem), rather than winning independence first, and annoyingly discovered that the French monarch immediately gets a claim not on Toulouse, but the K. of Jerusalem.... ensuing war sees me lose Jerusalem, and my count vassals through the Duchies of Toulouse and Barcelona are, despite all logic, tied to Jerusalem rather than the duchies so I lose all my count vassals as well.... WAD? I should think not...
1. Shouldn't the liege get a claim on the Duchy titles I held as his vassal before gaining the Kingdom? Is this the same way Invasion CBs work/does France get a claim on England rather than Normandy if William succeeds in 1066 (I've never tried it)?
2. If a King wins a claim for another kingdom, should he take the vassals that are de jure tied to duchies held by the target king, that are not de jure part of the kingdom that was won? (i.e. in my situation, all the counts that were de jure vassals of Toulouse and Barcelona)
Needless to say, this a gamebreaking bug for anyone wishing to go on to Crusade for Jerusalem while a vassal
