I have a crusade against me (actually had two, one from the catholic pope at same time) from fratecelli pope. He doesn't own any land and there are no fraticelle rulers (think size is 4 and think all but one county which is fraticelli is in my territory). There are no armies to fight and no territory to conquer so I guess only way to end war is to wait until ticking warscore get high enough.
Is there any drawbacks of being at war other than you can't do some things like go on hunt, carousing etc. Good thing is you get an opinion boost which helped smoothing the succession.
