Crusade Mechanic for Orthodox?

Does HIP contain a mechanic for crusades for the Orthodox faith? I know that vanilla doesn't for some reason..

That's because there's no historical event/movement at all equivalent to the Crusades/Jihad for Orthodoxy. Eastern Christianity didn't really go that way. Regular holy wars represent the limits of historicity regarding this.

Indeed. So, no, there are no crusades for Orthodox. The Byzantine Empire must be expanded some other way.

A bit off-topic, but it would be really nice to have some mechanic to represent proper Northern crusades in the Baltic region (similar to others), both against Pagan or Orthodox who could possibly control Livonia and Prussia.
