At the 1187 and 1337 scenarios all the ortodox rulers start with Crusade expectations!!

EDIT: They don't have them in betas (though there ain't a Crusade ongoing at scen start, so it's no suprise).
I suppose you are still using 1.04a and if that is the case, I can offer the solution of upgrading into latest beta as a solution to this issue.
