Just out of interest, how long does it take become crowned?

Nomads do not require or use the coronation mechanic at all.

My nomad Manichean Khagan has the uncrowned trait. Should it not be omitted then if nomads don't use the mechanic?

I believe zijistark just uploaded the fix to the beta -- so if you download the beta, it won't happen again, but it won't remove Uncrowned from a ruler who shouldn't have it and currently does.
