Are there any rules on inheritance laws, or can you use both salic and semisalic? Or any other rules that aren't covered in this thread?

Creed will there next session he thought the game started next friday. Hes in Leon.

Iron's in Apulia. He wasnt able to make it on account of router problems hopefully kom can help him get that straightend out.

Maybe youd like to play something in the HRE. Maybe a Duke in Burgundy, Bohemia, or somewhere in the middle? You could always bring it crashing to its knees.

The East is kind of full with me, kujy, Kom, and CC all in the same relative area. Wouldnt suggest anything there tension is already building.

Since there's a human controlled Poland and Hungary, I'll probably stay away from Bohemia. I think I'll go with the Duchy of Toscana, if it's alright with everyone...it's a nice, strong Duchy to build up with. Of course, when Mathilde dies, you get a terrible, retarded country-cousin heir, but working past that is part of the fun.

Italy wont be that crowed with only two people. One in the south and one in the north. They can expand, its not like they HAVE to compete for the same land like another area I know.

KoM, Out of curiosity, how large are the files from your saved game in MTT??

The latest one is 38.4 megs. Now, we have been using ck-purge regularly, so it's not that; it's just that in 400 years, you do accumulate a lot of characters. Even interesting, relevant ones.

About Iron's connection, why does everyone assume I know how to fix it? I don't know any more than the rest of you about firewalls and suchlike.

I just assumed that since you know how to open ports (I dont) and do all that work with you converter(I know nothing about) that you would be the mostly likely person to help. Sorry.

We are using the E beta. And as far as I know we use this thread only. Oh and I really would appreciate any help you can give! But just to warn you. Im really very very bad with computers. To tell the truth not too sure what a router is (dad set this computer up :wacko: ) Just warning you because if you want to help me it might be quite frustrating because of my lack of knowledge o

EDIT: And we already started and it was in 1066. But there was only one session and since I was unable to join from what I hear there was some crashes and they didn't get too too far.

yea i saw that their game crashed, i had to read the whole thread (jeesus)
well i dont care if u are very very bad with computers, i also had the same problem with routers and couldnt host in any game because of it, so i will glady try to help u.

first u need to tell me some things:
1º what is ur router (u already said u didnt know, but it is easy, check the router itself, it must say something)
2º each router has a diferent page to configure itself, mine, for example is http://192.168.1.1/main.htm, if u dont know it should say somewhere in ur manual (well if u dont have a manual, no problem, just tell me what kind of router do u have and i will check it for u)

now speaking about the game: i have seen many ppl here saying they will play with crappy minors, no problem if i go with one major power?

It will be hard to vassalize the King of Burgundy and Italy as the Duke of Apulia, you know.

BurningEGO, glad to have you aboard. Not sure if you really want to play Byzantium right now...until the beta patches are more ironed out, Byzantium is super unstable.

But toscany isn't those kings. And the HRE I meant if you rebelled. Or are you implying you will get those king titeles? Over my dead body!!! (And because im a god that's impossibile and thus your doomed)

EDIT: U can pick anyone, No problem as long as u don't pick the HRE

EDITEDIT: Checked on the floor there is no router there. I think we don't have one because we have some kind of lan connection. Not to sure what it is but all the comps are connected via one boxy thing (its very unstable ) and if it messes up we lose internet.

Pick the Principality you wish to become Emperor with well, then...I'm not sure which dynasty is on the throne in the current game, so it's probably best to pick a dynasty that can actually handle the job.

Don't worry, you won't get that from me. I try to be an honorable player and I would feel bad taking cheap shots at a nation that is having serious problems (hope others won't misinterpret this and think I will be a pushover ).
On a side note, we use this thread for general discussion I think. Personal matters like diplomacy would probably be confined to ICQ chats or an official diplomacy thread. Speaking of which, any one want to start one once the serious intrigue begins?
