By the way, if anyone would be interested in playing a somewhat battered France in the Great Game, that would be excellent, as cheech just dropped. While France is in a bad way at the moment, I do think it can recover and be a very fun nation.

Edited first post to show what everyone has picked so far. CanadianCreed has a problem in that he only has dial-up. I told him I didnt think that would work but that I would ask some of you guys that have played before. Mr. Josiman I havent heard from since his one post.
Is there a minimum number of people that you guys would be willing to go woth?? There are probably five of us at the moment. Just wanted your thoughts.

Modem play depends on how fast the connection is and how often someone disconnects you by picking up the phone on the modem line..

As I said before I am a total newbie when it comes to CK MP, so expect a trouncing .
In SP I almost always play counts and make my way up to king through the game. So I am asking to please suggest or assign a kingdom/duchy for me.

i was thinking about poland or england, but put me wherever you want or feel is better. I prefer northern locations.
Poland would mostly depend on which is the first target for KoM if he plays as novgorod

this would be my first MP, if someone could host a test run during the week to see if everything works ok for me would be wonderful

Geeze shows how much i'm out of it, I didn't get the notification that this thread had been updated.

As for me, I hoens'tly dont' have much of a preference, but if you need someoen in a certain section of the map and there's a kingdom there, count me for that oen (for example, if there's none in say, Iberia I'll take one of those kingdoms...doesn't matter which one, they'll all die soon under my boot )

well myself I have played byz, apulla, coratia, poland, norway, england and am woprking on sweden right now. All of them are decent, although Croatia is a bit slow going.

If there's no-one in Italy I'd go for Apulla myself.

mine's usualy 26.4 (ugh), and since I live alone, no phone pickups :d

Basically i have two choices; my home connection, which is the dialup that I mentioned (in the country so no high speed options that dont' cost a mint), or at work, which I should find out if I can connect to a game through their system or not.

I have held off putting up the final list for countries because I am waiting on one person to give me an answer about playing. I should be getting that today. If he does come in, that will give us eight people which should be a nice solid crew.
