LE, I hope you'll finish off this game (its only one more session after all). And given that there's currently no other Tuesday game (during US evening). If CQS is moving, perhaps you can start a new one on Tuesday, I'm sure people will be interested. There seem to be a great number of MP games starting these days.

We can't sub Portugal, but at the same time...
Starting half an hour to forty-five minutes late is going to make it much harder to finish tonight. I have no idea how long I can go.

I can be tolerant in light of the fact that it's you, and you have a way of complaining about everything, almost to the point of slander. what i did was to prepare Prussia for the war to come by raising about 11kD through selling off provinces that were of lesser immediate value. the swiss one might have been sold cheap, but if you think of it even 400 isn't a bad deal considering i lost bb, stab cost and gained the cash equivalent of 40k troops. an extra 40k troops will allow prussia to retake control of the prov once war begins. and as for the Polish provs, besides the money raised, I managed to get rid of Prussia's border with Russia. From what I could tell, Russia's hopes for expansion were directed largely at those provs, so basicly if he still wants them he'll have to take them from Prussia's foe, Austria. As for the sale of Hannover to England for 5kD, that's a no brainer. 5k gets 5 CCs, greatly enhancing Prussia's mp while also securing a NAP with England.
there have been many posts exclaiming the absurdity of my deals, but they seem to ignore the fact that prussia has few other ways of raising cash atm. if i were a regular, it would be different of course. all i did was optimize the country for war. i'm sorry for ruining whatever plans the regular prussia had with those provs. My plan was to take some german provs before the end, but i was restrained by the cautiousness of my ally. oh well.

Well ok, no worries. i made the deal rather hastily anyway, before learning from anyone how valued that province was considered.
gamewise i still stand by my decisions, although i admit as a sub the change of policy i instituted may have been a little out of line.

Seems the English and Swedes are afraid to hit me head on Don't blame them, taking piecemeals of the Empire don't bother me this late. I doubt that'll improve Russia's situation any how.
This is had some historical overtones, aside from Spain falling down. Austria joined France after vassalship and attacked Russia with Prussia and OE. France with it's major armies in the lead. This was fun. I finally got to punish Dane back for what he did in the last War and OE cut through the South. I think that taking China for Dane is now a mistake.. Fortifications and More Cash would've gone further.
As far OE, her fate was ceiled a long time ago but still contributing luckily

Gotta give HG Credit. He killed Austria, Tem's Austria was really well endowed. He also took down Russia even with help you're facing a Monster of an Army.

MCT is hard, especially against leaders of Napoleon's caliber. There was no way you could win, or even survive for long, against those odds, as Austria did not go through Italy to pressure France, and you had no other allies (I had expected, pre-session, to also face Portugal and, within a matter of months, Russia).
But you had an oppurtunity to at least take a swing at the First Consul, and your armies were annihilated for a specific reason.
