A Map of the First Confederate Civil War
[Circa 2998]
Blue: Terran Confederation
Red: Orion League
Grey: Neutral
It is the year 2998, and galactic civilization stands on the brink of collapse. Led by the charismatic politician Juan Lebedev, a coalition of periphery states known as the ORION LEAGUE have joined together in declaring their independence from the TERRAN CONFEDERATION.
In the face of this rebellion, the Confederation places its hopes in newly-elected President Morgan Afolayan and the good men and women of the CONFEDERATE SPACE COMMAND, charged with returning the defiant outer rim to Earth's control. As darkness falls across the galaxy, ships speed forth from Earth for the first great battle in nearly five hundred years...
Introduction
Greetings fellow travelers, I am Tristanxh, some of you might know me for my previous pitiable attempt at an After Action Report or for the less-than-successful ventures of mine elsewhere in the community. Despite these failures I am back once more with what I hope will be a fresh-taste of something old.
For those of you unaware, Crisis of the Confederation is a Crusader Kings II mod set in the distant future of science-fiction, taking on inspiration from various other science-fiction universes including Fading Suns, Dune, Warhammer 40,000, Battletech, and the Foundation series. Overall the mod is focused around the fall of modern democracy and the rise of neo-feudalism, so if you're interested in becoming the God-Emperor of Mankind, this mod may be for you.
The majority of this After Action Report shall be focused around the short-stories of individuals and their eventual demise rather than the overall state of the Confederation or the galaxy, perhaps there will be a few times wherein I'll continue the same story for a few decades or even decide to take the reigns of the once mighty Confederation, however until that day comes, my focus shall be solely on the bleak future of single mortal lives rather than even the lives of great houses or petty nations.
Also please do note that I'm not overly fond of taking screenshots, and these stories will be fairly image lacking- however, I do intend on filling them out in quite a bit of text detail, whether or not this is for the better or worse is yet to be seen, so please do feel free to comment on what aspects of this narrative that you enjoy and which ones you despise or otherwise hold in distaste.
