It is not something that the game actually desperately need, but hey ... In Europa Universalis 4 we have the principality of Theodoro, the gothic state of Crimea born in 1204, who lasted until the end of the fifteenth century, why it and its culture is not in Crusader Kings 2?

While I would kind of agree with you, cultures in CK2 are rather pointless and broken at the moment. I can guarantee within a couple of decades of the game start, Crimean Gothic will be completely converted to Greek, just as Frisians are wiped out by Germans. Small non-ruling cultures get completely obliterated at the moment.

THIS, and also that cultures aren't unique enough as of now. The last expansion and the addition of some culture-specific features made it a bit better, but I think some religious features should be changed to accomodate culture. An example would be which characters are allowed to hold feasts, hunts, tournaments, etc. It makes no sense that a Norse-religion Frenchman (just to give an example) wouldn't be able to hold a grand tournament, and a Christian one would (seeing as how there really isn't any religious aspect to it).
A visual feature I would like to see dependent on culture would be the UI and how it looks. For instance, Miaphysite Ethiopians' UI looks the same to the UI of Catholic French, and only because they are both Christians. The funny part is that the Ethiopian building styles are radically different from Western European ones, and therefore it is sometimes a bit immersion-breaking to see the bricks of Western European castles while playing as an East-African Ethiopian. I therefore suggest that the looks of the UI should depend on the character's culture, and not their religion.

Well, an entire expansion focused on Africa would be welcome in my opinion.

Definitely agree, they should be added to the game.
I agree, Africa could use a DLC (I would love to see the Trans-Saharan Trade Route, the Central African states and more fleshed out religion(s) and cultures in this area), but that wasn't the point I was trying to make. I tried to put forward that certain features, such as the UI, should depend on the character's culture, not religion.

To be fair, Crimean Gothic only started to come into its own after 1000.

We need a proper Osthrogothic culture for all of Crimea before 1000, which can then turn into Gothic.
