So I'm playing as Crimea in my current game, thus far I've taken Genoa out of the black sea (probably shouldn't of done that so early on), taken land from the golden horde (who are now done), and have Ryzan, Georgia and Ukraine as vassals. I also got a PU over the Ottomans (don't know whether I wanted this or not).

I have a few questions about reforming my government:

1. Will my PU with the Ottomans break?
2. Will I lose all monarch points like when I westernize?
3. I it worth investing in tech now that I am close to reforming? As my new tech group has cheaper prices.
4. How can I quickly raise my legitimacy to 90?

Any answers to these questions would be appreciated, also I'll be happy to take any tips from anyone else who has played Crimea in EUIV.

Your PU with the ottomans should stand so long as you have positive relations and prestige. Though you won't be able to integrate them until you're bigger than them. Overall though, it's a good thing.

When you westernize, you do lose all monarch points. In fact, they get set to -100 each. If you want a cheap, kinda exploity way of westernizing, build a bunch of admin buildings before westernizing and then cancel their construction right after. You can then use the points for stability.

It's worth investing in them, especially military tech since all points get reset anyway.

It's very difficult to raise legitimacy to 90 quickly. Royal marriages will do it slowly, the quickest way to do it though is to be lucky with events like build a great palace.

4. How can I quickly raise my legitimacy to 90?

Easiest way is to to have a heir with a Strong Claim. Once he becomes Khan you can "Muslimize"

An opportunity to show off my Crimea game.
