Creating Vassals

On many occassions I find myself with a province that I do not want. If I could just give it away I would. If I could make it a vassal I would. However the list of vassals that can be created is too limited. Is there any way to mod the game so that ANY province can be made a vassal?

Well, you could just edit the game and give the province to a neighbour or something. The only vassals in the game are historic nations at historic locations, and you can't recreate "historically extinct" nations, so the "create vassal" option is limited.

Like I said, if you have a crap province you dont want, just let it revolt away, or edit the savegame and give it to a neighbour.

If there were more free tags, you might be able to do that for some parts of the world... However, there aren't 1000+ tags to begin with, so there's no way that you could make a vassal for each province.

Could you imagine what the rebellions would be like, anyway?

Historical locations? I just created Tver as a vassal in the province of Guagnong,or something like that, over in Southern China. I also currently have the option of creating Dai Vat in Parana(Brazil) and The French Catholics just declared independance from their former opressors of China.....on the Chinese continent! Not too accurate or historical locations.
