In MP most of the time people, when they're at war, creating vassals to protect their borders. I think, eu3 creators should put a rule that, 'creating vassal at wartime causes your vassal go to war together with you' etc..
Doesn't make sense really, why would they suddenly go to war with you after you gave them their freedom? And in any case it does not solve the problem of the vassal being used as a shield. Better IMO to give a free CB on the vassal to anyone you are at war with.III.Selim said:In MP most of the time people, when they're at war, creating vassals to protect their borders. hah! yes, slight misreading there.Sterkarm said:Registered, I believe Selim is saying (and Selim, by all means, correct me if I'm wrong) that the vassal should join in any wars you're fighting. For example, say France is at war with Burgundy and England. France then creates a vassal during this war. This vassal, Champagne, now declares war on Burgundy and England.

...and one more thing. Owner of the vassal should decide how much should vassal pay every year (that makes big reason to stay or leave your owner) and vassal shouldn't declare war on a nation unless his master does.
