Creating Australia and New Zealand

As China I took over all territories that make up Australia and New Zealand as of 1882. I want to free them as Dominions but game will not let me. I assume that it is because they cannot be created until a certain time. Anyone have any idea when that time is. In other games I have seen UK free Australia and New Zealand but I forgot what year.

you can change the date a country can occur in revolts.txt in the \db folder.

There arent many folders in your Vicky directory, so you should be able to find it with a little work.

Use your notepad or text editor of your choice to open the file with. You can use the notepad's "Find" fucntion if you know what your are looking for. If not it can take a little time to find. Once you start tinkering around with the games files you will be hooked. Its easy to do, not very hard at all, really its a breeze, did i mention how easy it was?

You might want to copy your Vicky folder to your desk top so that if you screw something up you still have your original install.

That way you can have as many modded versions of Vicky as you want.
