I'm looking to get back into modding Stellaris again, but need advice on what my intended mod entails. I'm looking to create a new megastructure habitat, inspired by the type of Orbitals that are in Banks' Culture series. So a "miniature" ringworld that lies in high orbit over a world. Following the instructions in the new folder dealing with megastructures don't seem too hard, I want the habitat to be a one-per-system type of construction that orbits a star only, and be a 25 tile habitat. The Orbital should need Voidborne and Master Builders Ascension perks.

What I need help with though is how to create custom graphics for the Orbital. I've only ever done map and portrait modding for PDS games, so I haven't messed around with graphics meshes and such. Ideally, I'd want the Orbital to look like a miniature Ringworld, as one mesh preferably. What do I need to do to make this happen, and what files should I be looking at? Finally, are there any other files apart from the graphics file and the megastructure folder that I should be looking at?
