Create a supply convoy

Playing Italy, I declared war on Rep Spain in 1937. I did an amphibious assault on Seville. It was the first province I took. The AI immediately creates a convoy route from Genoa to Seville. Which is good.

However, after a while I take all the southern provinces of Spain, including Valencia. I now want the convoy to run from Genoa to Seville, which is shorter and less vulnerable. But I can't! Cancelling the one to Seville does not help. I can find no way to create it. After cancelling the convoy to Seville, the AI recreates it after midnight.

Any suggestions?

Disable automatic convoy creation, cancel the first convoy, wait a day, create a new one. You might have to wait until your first supply dump is gone before you create a new convoy.
