Crazy 1933 Scenario

I was playing a fairly speedy test game in the 1933 scenario today, and saw something I'd never witnessed before... In early 1935, France suddenly declares war on Germany and the Allies go on the offensive... Then the USSR DoWs Germany and Poland, Republican Spain joins the Allies -- around the time of the Spanish Civil War, Republican Spain just gets a Victory! Event and the Nationalists never even form... Italy declares war on the Soviet Union apart from the Axis.

So by 1937, Germany has steamrolled France AND Spain, so now there's a fascist Spanish State as a German puppet, Poland is entirely owned by the Soviets, and Austria and Czechoslovakia are still untouched. Anyone else ever seen something odd like that?

As a matter of fact yes, I do. Though even so, I was still surprised to see France going on the offensive so early, before Germany really even does anything particularly belligerent.

Sounds like fun appart from the Italians declaring war on the SU!

this is what i do now in DH. historical plausibility has really drained itself on my mind to the point that going to war with poland as germany is boring. so i let random stuff happens. that option of letting democracies declare war is fun as hell. noobie french declare war, and then lose, really fast if they dare to attack me in '36.
