Crashing, No Levies after patch

After I installed the patch the game is unplayable. There are no armies and the game crashes after a year or so. I tried to reinstall and verify the cache (steam version) but nothing changed.

I really don't know what to do.

What version and checksum show in the main game menu?

Is this just in one saved game? What about in a new game?
