Crashes When Clicking Character Portrait

Hey all!

I wonder if you can help me. Every time I click the character portrait in the top left corner my game crashes. Everything else seems to work except this and its really quite frustrating. Give you an overview of what I have and what I have done to fix it here you go:

I have

• all of the expansions including the African portraits
• 2 old versions of mods (not turned on) - the Game of Thrones mod and Elder Kings

I have tried

• Reinstalling the whole game through steam
• validating files
• deleting everything in the original steam folder

I really don't know how to go about fixing this game breaking bug. In is understandably frustrating when I have bought every single expansion and I can't play these now. Please suggest fixes and I will do them pronto!

... but presumably not in the user folder. Both need to be dealt with.

Please try a full clean re-install, it does fix this problem:

- move any valued save games elsewhere
- "delete local files" in Steam
- manually delete all files left under Steam/CK2 AND Documents/CK2
- re-install game in Steam, run a verify when done.
