Crashes to black screen/desktop while using the road tool

This has been a problem for me since the game came out. If I use the road tool after the road has finished being placed or if I right-click the mouse to make the road tool go away, my drivers crash.

This has been going on ever since the game came out now...

Yes my PC is fine. i7-3370, 32GB RAM 2x GTX 670's
Yes I have the latest drivers installed
Yes I've uninstalled all my microsoft c++ things, uninstalled skylines, reinstalled skylines, then installed the vc/dx in the folder
No my hardware is not failing. My video cards are pretty new & I can run CSGO at 120FPS for many hours at a time & other high-end games on max settings with no problems.
No my drivers never crash independently.

There is no crash report. It crashes to a black screen, then to desktop, and I can hear it running in the background/still does stuff if I move the mouse around

which drivers did you install? You're better off with nvidia's proprietary drivers than the community drivers when it comes to gaming on linux.

edit: oh screw that you're on windows?

soo are you running the game in fullscreen mode or window mode?

if you're running it in fullscreenmode try to start the game with launch options:
-popupwindow -screen-fullscreen 0 -screen-width [your monitors max width] -screen-height [your monitors max height]

theres a couple of other command line options on

on which you can tweak your settings a bit

I've re-installed, uninstalled & re-installed dx/the other thing, tried it with no mods too

It must be your PC because on others it is running without your issues. Have you ever checked Windows event log ? Then the Cities Skylines output_log.txt ? Did you run a RAM memory check tool ? Is your PC overclocked ? Did you run a simple checkdsk ? We don't know nothing about your system but you expect somebody here to solve your problem . And I don't see if you have done all the usual stuff as mentioned above.
And the best is always "help, I have a problem but it isn't my PC". So if it's not your PC why then asking here?
Install the game is no rocket science, Steam does all for you. And you run the game with no mods installed and the same issues, what do you think is the culprit?
It must be your PC, what else ? If I read 32GB RAM and 2x GTX 670, I already see this is not a common PC.

If you would shut the fuck up & read for once instead of just replying to every single thread, "WELL THE PROBLEM IS YOU CUZ THE GAME IS WORKING FINE FOR ME"(Anecdotal Logical Fallacy) then you'd see where I clearly stated this problem is happening when using the road tool.
