IIRC we've had a few reports of CTD on Quit to Desktop, but not Quit to Menu. Not really much to suggest for you, sorry - there's a slightly newer video driver for your machine, may as well try that

Nope, upgraded the driver to the latest version and no change... It started out happening maybe 1/3 times, but now it seems to happen every time.

I don't have any DLC, I'm just running the vanilla game.

Is there anything I can do to get more information to the Paradox guys? Maybe turn on some extra logging, or provide my current save file to see if it can be replicated on their end?

Hmmm, very odd. It's just you getting this as far as I know. The fact it's getting worse is not good.

You mention save games, are you saying it happens on particular games and not others? That is, with a series of saves of one game it always happens, but you start a fresh game and it never happens?

I'm not sure if this works with CK2 but try running it with the debug switch, so ck2.exe -debug - that used to work with EU3. See if there's anything more in the logs.
