Game continuously crashes. Furthest I have ever gotten is to select the secondary skill during character creation.

Sorry youre having issues just trying to get out game to load. From the crash files, It might be good to verify your steam files, you can check this by right clicking the game and going to Properties, and selecting Local Files tab and Verify Integrity of Game Files. If that doesn't work you can try and ensure you have an appropriate version of the redistributeable visual C++ (2013) installed (You can find this information with a quick google search).

If you continue to have issues, please let us know again and we will help investigate the issue further.

I verified steam files, deleted local content and reinstalled.
I have a couple of versions of the redistributable, but could not find anything on an internet search to tell me which version Tyranny requires.

Still crashes.

My game fails to launch as well. Gets to the loading screen then locks up my entire PC and I have to restart. Where are the crash files located? I'm not sure I'd even have any since I had to restart my PC both times.

Have verified, redownloaded, have redist... dunno what to do here.

Sorry to hear this is also affecting you as well. Do you happen to have your computer specs and verify that they are compatible? When you try to load the game, does it tell you what version of the game is trying to run? And lastly, what platform are you running the game on (Steam, GoG, etc)?

I played Tryanny standalone with no problem, don't see why the DLC would be any different.

Running off Steam
Win 10
AMD FX-4300 @ 4.5GHz
GTX 970 w/ 4GB VRAM
8GB DDR 3

Didn't get far enough to the menu to see a version.

Only message I ever got was a little window saying Fatal Error and a second one saying something about GC?

Froze at Menu after reinstall.

Hello @VitaminK,

I'm sorry this issue is still present after the patch. Do you happen to any anything else running that might affect the game (i.e. MSI Afterburner has caused fatal issues with Tyranny).

Also, could you please check your game files for a file named 'output_log.txt' in the 'Data' folder of the game? If you can send us that file, it may provide us with more information on what is going wrong.

What AV app do you use?

Do you happen to be running the FaceIT anti-cheat client? That also causes this to CSL. If so it needs to be completely uninstalled with the free Revo Uninstaller.

Panda Protection and Malware Bytes. I turned both off while installing and still got the same results. I have no idea what FaceIT anti-cheat is?

Hello @VitaminK

I'm very sorry for the delayed response. The log did not provide any smoking guns for the programmers to work off of, they are afraid it might be coming from the Unity code itself (which would be outside our control to fix). Is this issue still occurring for you after the recent patches? Also, if you are still having this issue and are logged in to your Paradox Account in Tyranny, could you please try logging out, restarting the client, and seeing if the issue is still happening?
