If you are crashing on startup, the most likely reason is due to resources not being properly installed. Find where you installed the game and go here: \Ship Simulator Extremes\Resources\redist

Run all the exes located in that folder (dxwebsetup.exe , PhysX_9.10.0129_SystemSoftware.exe and vcredist.exe) and also the DXSETUP.exe located in the DirectX folder. After this, find and run the Unregister.exe in the main game folder. Try running the game again.

If that doesn't help, try this:

If the above doesn't change the behavior, create a thread in this forum or submit a request at our Zendesk support site.

Please include a DxDiag when you submit a ticket:

* Click on your "Start" button.
* Write dxdiag in the search field.
* A box called "DirectX Diagnostic Tool" should open.
* At the bottom of this window, you will find a button called "Save
All Information".
* Click this button.
* A box will pop up prompting you to save a file called "dxdiag.txt"
* Save this file to your "Desktop".
* Now you should see a text file called "dxdiag.txt" sitting on your
Windows desktop.

Attach the text file in a reply to me.

After all the above, and a reboot, I found it was necessary to manually run (32bit in my case as it was on XP) after the install process finished, and reboot, to get past the stuck customcommand.dll , customvalueoperator.dll , streamcc.dll , mwdrcc.dll, coreref.dll etc messages.
