Crash on Launch

I installed Tyranny off gog galaxy today and anytime I hit play it just crashes instantly and a popup comes up saying that a crash log has been created, etc, etc.

I have this on my desktop and it worked wonderfully there but on my laptop is just crashes right away.

I have an HP Pavilion 15

i5 7300HQ 2.6ghz
gtx 1050 4gb
8 gm ram
win 10 64

I have attached some of the crash logs that it created.

Hello @John Henry Eden,

I am sorry this is happening to you. I see a reference to Visual Studio 2008 in your error log. Are you sure that you have Visual Stuipd 2013 as well? They are required for the game to run. You can find them here:

If that does not correct the issue, could you send us the remaining files that are created during the crash so that I can forward them to our Programming team?

I also see DirectX9 all over the place:

d3d9.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)

Do EU4 and Stellaris run ok?

What happens if you download the latest

And run dxsetup.exe from that?
