Crash list starts here

Had two crashes already.


First one occurred when I hit F10 while the thing was autosaving, then I attempted to save the game. It game me the error that the save file could not be accessed.


Next one occurred with an event that allowed you to increase tarrifs or leave them alone. The mouse locked up and the game became unplayable. Also, I had to reboot the machine to gain mouse functionality again. Playing as Nippon, if it matters.


System:

Athlon 900 MHz
256 MB RAM
nVidia GeForce 2 GTS driver V. 2.1.8.3, from nVidia
Windows XP Pro.

Other than those things, I'm digging the game (except, the final zoom out level seems to be removed).

The map looked all blurry with it.

I'm no expert but I think that XP can be making some problems for you.
Don't think it has been used by many testers, so it has not gotten the appropriate feedback.

Some testers have tested on XP without problems. (Patric too IIRC?)

Other than that horrid bug where I forget about the Scots only to notice latery they've taken my three northern most provinces...I've not had any bugs.

XP has been working just fine for me since mid-October. Same with Patric.

Just make sure you don't have too many background software running.

Another thing though, playing at maximum resolution is near impossible on my machine. Everything moves too slowly.

We all know that the game was shipped early and somehow bugged.
Sincerely I prefer it that way, since the guys have shown with EU how dedicated to their work they are, with many patches and always keen to listen to fans...

Yes, I've played it on XP without a single crash. Only playd GC so far.

No, NT wasn't even considered because of the version of DirectX required. DirectX 8 isn't available for NT afaik.

Just wait for first patch mate and take the advise already mentioned into account
