Court invitation limit a double-edged sword?

That option where you can invite a person to court as long as they like you more than their liege is a double-edged sword? I mean I never have experienced so many people suddenly stopping to be my council members without even any notice so I would assume it is because of that option being enabled? Can we at least get some notification if a vassal does that?

There's a notification that by default I think pops up in the low priority window when someone leaves your court. So if your councilors are courtiers that's where the notification will be.

But if your councillors leaving are landed, then there might be other reasons why they resigned

No I do get the notification that X/Y/Z is no longer your (insert council position here) and I usually know if it is by death or what. I do prefer if they are going to at least give us a notification that the particular individual is no longer my (insert council position here) because they left for another court.
