ok so i have a couple questions regarding the game:
1) For military dictatorship, you can get an awesome ship thats named after your ruler is a type of ship that no other non-military dictatorship or is it just a battleship.
2) Humans, are there going to be more possible human factions that will be in a play through or only on Sol, (asking because i want to have an all human federation).
3) Will there be custom names for your leaders or are they just picked from the generic names that you pick when you create your faction like shown in the stream.

2) You can play humans on a random system...lost colonists or whatever backstory you want. (As for setting up a multi-human game, I don't know that one yet. May need a mod to set your opponents.)

3) You can rename all your leaders.

A couple added thoughts:

1)
Don't know about that yet.

So far, I've just seen speculation on this topic, nothing concrete as to what, "Can build an oversized ship" means... though intended as an effect / benefit for just military dictatorships.

2) Other Human Factions? In the Stellaris context, factions are groups that form within your empire that need to be watched & managed. As I understand it, they form for a variety of reasons such as unhappy pops or pops with different or drifting ethos from the empire core. However, I think you're asking if you can start a game with multiple starting human empires. There is a recently added game mechanic where you can create and save races before you start a game. As you start a new game, you can select any of your own custom races to either definitely or possibly appear in the game if you like. For your role playing request, you could create multiple different human civs / empires and then select them to definitely appear in your game. However, to my knowledge there'd be no way to control where these other human empires start in the galaxy in relation to your own home world.

2.) Yup. And with the custom species selection feature Wiz added, you can just create a bunch of human civilizations and then select them all to spawn when you generate your galaxy.

3.) The characters get their names from the name list you chose during species creation, but you can rename your characters.

Let's say you've built a tomb or two and two or three "super battleships" before settling in with [insert gov't here]. Do those buildings and ships remain until destroyed?

I presume so, but ...

I do not think it is that easy to change your goverment type, but I think once build it stands until beeing destroyed.

Multiple human empires should be possible. Wiz said in the stream that you can choose with each of your custom empires if they can appear randomly or if they have to appear or not at all.
So it should be possible to create some custom humans and have all of them appear at once.

IIRC it costs a substantial quantity of influence (250?) to change governments, so it definitely comes at a cost. One imagines flip-flopping gov'ts inflicts happiness penalties to go with it...
