1) In the ruler designer, why is Patient a negative trait when it appears to only give positive bonuses?
2) What is the best way to determine what the potential military strength of a target claim is? Ie, what it can raise? etc.
3) Does Invite a Noble to court randomly bring someone suitable for any council position except bishop?

1. The negative number is how much age it will add on your character, so you can't get a super character.
2. Theres a Realm Tree button under the characters dynasty shield. It will tell you how much it could have, how much it currently has etc.
3. Invite a noble gets someone of your culture and religion, with random stats, usually tier 3/4 education traits, theres also a Invite Holy Man to court, I think.

1) Actually no... a negative number subtracts age and is generally reserved for bad traits you don't want. Patience, subtracts one year, which would seem to indicate it is at least a little bad, but it seems to only have positive effects...
2) I don't see how the realm tree helps me see what a character can raise for battle?

However granting Patience makes you a year younger, like leper makes you 30 years younger and Genius makes you 30 years older - so indeed it does seem that Patience is considered a negative/bad trait considering it makes you younger like a leper - get it? Question is, what is so bad about Patience?
