Hej guys. I'm trying restoring roman empire but I've run into few problems. Hope you can help me solve them :)

1) How to expand among Christians? I'm trying to reconquer Italy but virtualy my only way is through fabricated claims and that takes ages. In vanilla I would simply invite claimant, land him and push his claim but it's no longer working.
I'm thinking about northern Italy.
2) Why Supreme Patriarchs get a bonus points to election for being Italian despite being based in Constantinopole?
3) Also why Supreme Patriarch is not religious head to every Chalcedonian Chrystian? In my game he simply replaced patriarch in Constantinopole and autocephaly remained. Also when he will start calling crusades? I already had 2 jihads against me.
4) I read somewhere that ERE can use provinces in place of kingdom tier titles. What are the requierments to use them? I've already exceeded vassal limit.

Thank for all the answers ;)

I'm thinking about northern Italy.

Not sure what you mean about "it's no longer working". Why wouldn't that work? You can invite claimants and land them, same as in vanilla.

2) Why Supreme Patriarchs get a bonus points to election for being Italian despite being based in Constantinopole?

Possibly because that's the culture of the title's capital (Rome)? I'm not sure. It would be lovely if we could change a title's capital, but that can't be done. If you have a save where this is showing, I'd love to have it -- would be nice to check if setting conquest_culture on a religious head title would have any effect on elections.

3) Also why Supreme Patriarch is not religious head to every Chalcedonian Chrystian? In my game he simply replaced patriarch in Constantinopole and autocephaly remained. Also when he will start calling crusades? I already had 2 jihads against me.

The Patriarch Supreme is religious head in the same way that the Ecumenical Patriarch is religious head to Orthodox -- meaning that he's the default religion head for everywhere that doesn't have a pentarch or an autocephalous patriarch. Having a Patriarch Supreme doesn't get rid of autocephaly...in fact, we couldn't do that without outright switching everyone to yet another religion. For the most part, having a Patriarch Supreme just allows the things that a normal religion head does (crusades, for instance) and prevents the schism.

As for crusades, that operates under the same criteria as the Catholic crusades -- meaning they have to be enabled by the event, first.

4) I read somewhere that ERE can use provinces in place of kingdom tier titles. What are the requierments to use them? I've already exceeded vassal limit.

Not even certain what you're referring to, here.

4)"Province" like in ancient Rome. I can't find the post right now but somebody asked about being unable to create king-tier titles as emperor and the answer was that ERE can create equivalent called Province. Yes I'm aware I can change law but I don't want to get rid of that sweet bonus of +10 vassal limit. Or is this the only way?

I am the Chalcedonian Emperor of Spain, I rule over everything between Galicia in the West and Afghanistan in the West, Egypt in the South and Scotland in the North, but the decision to create the Holy Roman Empire (or restore the Roman Empire) is not available. (I have to mention that there is a Catholic Pope, but also a Supreme Patriarch).

I have already mended the Schism (this game dates back about a patch or two), and have enforced Ephesus. I still have to enforce Chalcedon (just need to conquer Aksum, working on that claim...).

Must I first enforce Chalcedon to make Chalcedonian the only Christian religion before I can create the Holy Roman Empire and restore the Roman Empire?

They only stay in the realm if you're their de jure liege, or if the title they currently have is an equal or higher tier than the one being pressed for them. I believe that's the same as in vanilla. Even if it's not, the tooltip on the CB will tell you whether or not they'll stay in the realm once it's enforced.

2)When I try to upload I get error. Pls use link

I'll take a look. Thanks!

EDIT: Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a College of Cardinals in your link -- there's no button for it when I look at the religion screen. Why? I don't really know. Sadly, however, that means I can't investigate your issue further.

Oh, capital-p Province. Yes, those do exist. I believe how it works is that, when you satisfy the conditions for one of the "we've retaken this former Roman province" events, it will switch those titles over to a de jure Province kingdom-tier title, which you can indeed create.

If you're using an old save with the new mechanics, I have no idea what the conflicts would be -- we pretty specifically said "NOT save compatible". One of those conflicts is clearly you having both Catholic and Chalcedonian present, which shouldn't happen, so I can't help you.
